    • Hi Kimberly, thank you for stopping by!

      My Hostess Party packs include: a party booking confirmation letter, details of my Hostess reward programme / gifts, a guest list, a product wish list, a little pre-party game, guest invitations (tied in ribbon!), Avon brochures relevant to the party date, order forms, recruitment info and generous samples.

      The party invitations are available for me to purchase at lo-cost directly from Avon. I just ‘jazz’ them up a little with some organza ribbon :) My thank you cards are from a variety of sources… I pick up pretty cards all the time when I am out shopping!

    Was looking for thank you notes for my customer and there you were! I’m wondering if you have a party plan for the hostess and the guests. What I mean is…a discount and/or special hostess party prices for product based on the amount of the party. In the same way, is there a special discount for the amount of money spent by the customer…if she spends 50 or more, plus books a party? I am trying to put together a plan as I find my biggest competitor is Tupperware! Thanks!

    • Hey Val, thank you for stopping by!

      My Hostess Reward Programme varies throughout the year. I like to keep it fresh for my repeat Hostesses, exciting for my customers and different to fellow Representatives.

      I always give my Avon party Hostesses a gift on the night to thank them for booking the party – which varies depending on the campaign / season etc. I also give them 10% of the total party sales to spend on free Avon products of their choice. I also reward pre-party orders, guest attendance etc etc. I also send a thank you gift after the event if the party was especially good.

      I don’t have a defined package for the purchasing guests although I do have special offers on certain products on the night.

    Your party packs sound ideal. I am looking at having my first Avon party next month and I am finding it quite costly to buy everything i need for the party.
    I’m trying to be careful as not to be out of pocket… any ideas welcome.
    Can I order a free party pack or a cheap bumper packs containing multiple samples??

    • Hi Lisa, congratulations on booking your first Avon party. How exciting!

      Firstly, there is no need for this to be costly for you. Absolutely not! However, do recognise that this is your business and a *small* investment in some key items will result in a profitable party.

      I always recommend you purchase some invitations. These cost around £1 and will last for at least a couple of parties. In my experience, those who receive a proper invite and whom you speak to, will show a higher attendance rate, than those you just text or social media invite. Of course, do those follows up – but always aim to give paper invites too!

      As for demo items, don’t aim to have everything. Impossible! Look around your home, bathroom, make-up bag – you will have a huge collection of products already that people can easily sample – without going to any additional cost. Alternatively, reach out to your Area Manager / upline as she will certainly have product that she may be willing to let you borrow.

      Lastly, keep refreshments simple. Tea / coffee / biscuits will cost hardly anything. After all, people won’t have free hands to manage any more!
